This wonderful list of books to increase our World Understanding was recommended by members of Nu Chapter, and brought to us by Nu member Kathy Gierhart, who is also our state World Understanding Committee Chair. Nu Chapter put this list together in the last two years of books that they said they not only
enjoyed but gave them a better understanding of other times and cultures. They used a meeting, sat in a circle, and anyone that wanted to share
talked briefly about the book and their secretary took notes. They tried
discussing a book outside of their regular meeting time, but
members seemed to enjoy getting recommendations and gathering after their
formal meeting ended. They hope other Wisconsin sisters will enjoy their recommendations, and that their chapters might enjoying their book-club-like experience.
